Could have been better

Not bad, compadre, but it could have been better. First of all, I'd hardly call this an ambient song. You have some nice synth going in the background, but the feel is too robotic to be ambient in my opinion. You know, the "beeps" and "boops." But whatever, that's not important. What is important is that your driving beat doesn't kick in until about 1:10, which is bad in a song that's only 1:49 minutes long. The song isn't actually that bad once the beat gets going; but considering that's only 40 seconds of material, that doesn't mean much. I'd suggest toning down the melody to make it more relaxing, and shorten the intro. Keep up the good work

I agree with you about the ambient part. I guess it should have gone under Miscellaneous .

I know what you're talking about with the length of the song and the beat, too. I just didn't want to make it go on for too long. I usually do that with my other songs and I get a million reviews about repetition (I, for one, am a fan of repetition as long as it's used with discretion).

Really enjoyed it

My only real complaint is that it isn't longer, and as a result, there's not much variation. Still, the mood is most important, and you made what you wanted to: a downtempo, spacy track with some beats. With that said, its nothing too original; but that didn't stop me from downloading it :) Keep on keepin' on, brotha'

Pretty damn good

I'll agree with Shadowfox in that this could pass as video game menu music, albeit some very good menu music. I liked the beat, first and foremost; it was compelling and seemed to draw me in. Since it sounds more like bongos later on, I definitely made the jungle connection. I'd work on a better opening, however; the song seems very sharp at the beginning, which is weird for an ambient/waterfall song. Still, you reminded me of Boards of Canada, which is a huge compliment coming from me, so kudos. I downloaded it for some personal listening ;) Keep up the good work.
